Time will Tell

Is the era of marriage being drawn into the distance? Moving further and further into the cloudy curtain of today's smoke. Smoke!...or should I say uncertainty, misunderstanding, fear of not fulfilling our goals, fear of becoming the situation in which we live, stagnating, dying without having done....or seen....or tried!

When it's been too long and we need to change, what do we do? We move things around, we re-decorate, we buy a new fragrance, change our hairstyles, our wives, our homes, our husbands or our jobs. We change!

All change can be good if managed correctly and these changes are usually only truly appreciated through time, after tears, pain, laughter and loss have come and gone.

So what can we do about time?

Nothing!

Scary isn't it? That we can never really know what will happen, or with whom or for how long. How will time make us feel?

I would like to keep hoping that the essence of time hasn't made us into minute maids, for whom living 'for now' has become so common that we can't see past next week. It is still possible to condition the heart and the mind to work in parallel synchronization with time. To follow its sketchy path through the corridors of life.
